GG's Saturday Movie : Sex And The City

Hi, kitties!
As I myself am a very lazy person, Saturday is my movie day of the week. I like to curl up on the couch with my cat, get some goodies and watch (or re- watch) a movie from my girly girl collection. This week, I'm gonna start with one of my all time favorites: Sex And The City, the first movie. Yes, I do love the tv show too, but I'll talk about that in one of my future posts.
Although critics and even fans of the series bashed the motion picture, I like it a lot. The girls are funny as always, the fashion is...God, I want all of their clothes...and there are some nice scenarios. So, what more could i ask for a girly girl movie. I actually bought my own copy of the DVD yesterday, because I found it at a local store for only about 3 dollars (or maybe less, I hate doing conversions), and I've just watched the movie for the 7th, 8th, I don't know what time with a bag of chips and a huge bottle of Coca-Cola. And no, you shouldn't copy my eating habits as they can be very bad for your health. I'm not a role model or something, so give me a break.

My copy has as special features a mini-documentary about the SATC fashion in the series (love that!), Michael Patrick King's commentary (ok) and Fergie recording in the studio for the soundtrack (I like Fergie, but her song for this movie was kinda meh).

You all now probably the story. Carrie and Big are finally getting married and they go house hunting and Carrie is so busy planning everything, but Big gets cold feet and blows her up at the last moment. And I mean literally at the last moment, right in front of the church.
Meanwhile, Miranda and Steve have their own marital issues, Samantha is unhappy living in LA waiting around for Smith, and Charlotte...well, she's good this time, for once she doesn't have serious problems.
If you loved the girls (I grew up watching the series and wishing for my own tiny apartment in New York with a closet full of shoes), then you must give the movie at least a itty bitty chance. So, for this Saturday, grab your copy of SATC: the Movie and enjoy.
Kisses for my kitties,

My top 6 favorite products from Yves Rocher

Hi, kitties!
So, for my first "real" post on this blog, I'm gonna share with you my favorite products from Yves Rocher, one of the cosmetic brands I Love the most. Unfortunately, I don't have pics with all of the products because I've used up some of them, so I've decided to use photos from the official site. Mind you, I love Yves Rocher when it comes to skin care, because I find the make-up stuff overpriced for what it has to offer. But I love the face, body and hair products, that's why I'll show my favorites in a random order.

Pure Calmille 2-In-1 Cleanser & Toner

I love this cleanser because it gets the job done and it leaves my skin feeling refreshed and invigorated. I don't use it for my eye make-up though, because I like using eye make-up remover, to be sure all the mascara and the eyeshadows are gone.  Price: about 3 euro

Pure Calmille Deep Cleansing Gel

I have combination skin and if I use exfoliating gels too often, my nose and my forehead get too dry and my skin peels off. Using this gel, I find that it's gentle enough, but it helps keeping my skin acne free.Price: about 4 euro.

Riche Crème Compensating Concentrate

I know this is an anti aging cream, but since I'm 26 I think it's ok if I use it. I loved this serum, because that's what it actually is. The formula is so delicate, it absorbs almost immediately into the skin leaving it soft and nourished. And no, it didn't make my face shine and I could apply my foundation right away in the mornings. A bit pricey, but I wouldn't mind getting these serum as a gift again. Price: no idea, I got it as a gift with an order.

Botanical Hair Care Botanical Hair Care Nutri-Repair Mask

Although this mask is intended for dry hair, I used it once a week and I loved the way it made my hair feel. Silky-smooth, without being greasy. It also helps with the frizz. And the smell, oh the smell is...it reminds me of some kind of bubblegum, God knows why 'cause it's supposed to be herbal. Price: about 5 euro.

Les Plaisirs Nature Shower Gel - Organic Vanilla

Definitely, my favorite shower gel from Yves Rocher. The Bourbon Vanilla scent is absolutely delicious, and the gel itself is thick and very foamy, so I love using this in the shower. I could eat the entire bottle because of the smell. Price: about 6 euro.

Les Jardins du Monde Shower Cream African Cocoa Bean

The last item on my favorites list is another shower gel, although I love most of the bath stuff from Yves Rocher. This is my second favorite because it's creamy and smells delicious and I'm a sucker for anything chocolate or cocoa scented.Price: about 2 euro.

So there you have it, these are my favorite products, but that's not all I'm using from this brand, as my bathroom is full of their stuff and most likely you'll find here reviews for other Yves Rocher products.

Until next time, kisses for my kitties!

Hi, kitties!

This is my first English blog, so forgive me if I make some spelling mistakes, as English is not my native language. I've had other blogs in the past, but my love for all things pink, cute and girly should be shared with the world. Am I right or am I right? Therefore, you'll find here reviews of books and movies I love and of all the cosmetics I'm testing or I'm loving. My nickname (or at least what I like to call myself) is Kitty Glitz. I'm 26 years old, happily married and a cat lover. And that's about it what I'm gonna share about my personal life. So, feel free to check out my little blog and show me some love!
