On Kitty's watchlist: Hot in Cleveland

I love a good sitcom and when I find one with a female leading cast, I can't stop watching. I got hooked on Hot in Cleveland a few weeks ago, and since then I watch one or two episodes daily. People say it reminds them of Golden Girls. I can't tell, because I was too little when that sitcom was airing on a German television we had here in Romania.
Anyways, for me, Hot in Cleveland is like a more tamed Sex And The City. There are three women: Melanie, Joy and Victoria who make an unexpected stop in Cleveland. Being used to their lives in LA, where middle- aged women are some kind of a pariah, they are delighted to see that by Cleveland standards they're super-hot. So, Melanie, who's recovering after a messy divorce, decides on an impulse to rent a house in Cleveland. Joy and Victoria decide to stay with her for a while, but soon Joy's business (she's a brow expert) isn't doing too well and Victoria is left broke by her accountant, so basically, they have no place to go.
The house Melanie rented comes with an unwanted "bonus": an old lady named Elka. She's big-mouthed and a pain in the ass, but after a while the women and Elka become good friends and go together through bad relationships and all kinds of funny adventures.
I like this show very much because I find the chemistry of the main characters to be very authentic. I also like Betty White and Valerie Bertinelli (we have similar personalities) and you know, the wardrobe and the make-up are pretty interesting to watch too for some inspiration. It's not like I'm 40+, but they don't always dress like they're 40+.
